1. Who we are

Uwhisk is operated by M Flux Lab, United Kingdom. Contact details are on our contact page. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean M Flux Lab trading as Uwhisk.

2. These terms

These terms apply to every order you place through this website. By placing an order you agree to them. Please also read our Delivery, Returns and Privacy pages, which form part of these terms.

3. Products

We sell matcha preparation tools: bamboo whisks, ceramic bowls, whisk holders, bamboo scoops, storage tins and glass drinkware.

Product images are for illustration. Bamboo and ceramic are natural or hand-glazed materials and colour, grain and glaze vary slightly between items. Dimensions are approximate. Bamboo whisks are consumable items with a typical life of 2-3 months at daily use.

We describe products by material and construction (for example “solid bamboo”, “traditional 100-prong construction”).

4. Ordering and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it, and a contract is formed, when we email you to confirm dispatch. We may decline an order – for example if an item is out of stock, a price was clearly wrong, or the delivery address is outside the area we serve – in which case we will refund any payment taken.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. Delivery charges are set out on the Delivery page and at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order through Shopify Payments or the other methods shown at checkout.

6. Delivery

We deliver to England, Scotland and Wales only. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland or outside the UK. Delivery estimates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed; in rare cases delivery can take up to 30 days. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Cancellation and returns

As a UK consumer you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions on our Returns page (including the hygiene exception for used whisks and scoops). If goods are faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose you have additional statutory remedies which these terms do not limit.

8. Use of products

Products are for domestic use in preparing matcha. Please follow the care instructions on the product page and on our care guide. Handheld frothers are battery-operated; keep the handle out of water. Keep small parts away from young children.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not liable for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Website content and intellectual property

All text, images and video on this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Information in guides is general and provided in good faith.

11. Reviews

Reviews are submitted by customers via a third-party app. We only ask for reviews from verified purchasers, we do not pay for reviews, and we do not remove reviews because they are negative. We may remove content that is abusive or unlawful.

12. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, please get in touch via our contact page and we will try to sort it out within two working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales (or of Scotland if you live there).

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you order applies to that order.
